Knightsbridge Hotel fills a row of cream stucco townhouses on Beaufort Gardens, a quiet, tree-lined street just off Brompton Road. It belongs to the Firmdale collection, and it feels more like a generous private home than a grand London address, with 44 rooms and suites tucked behind a modest front door.
Downstairs, two lounges set the tone. The drawing room mixes striped armchairs, folk art and an open fireplace, while the library pairs full bookshelves with deep sofas in coral and red. Afternoon tea is served here on tiered stands, and breakfast and round-the-clock room service cover the rest of the day.
No two bedrooms look alike. Expect towering upholstered headboards, botanical prints, walls painted sage, powder blue or rose, and tall sash windows looking out over the plane trees. The Knightsbridge Suite and the junior suites add proper sitting areas, and several of the larger rooms have fireplaces or balconies. In-room spa treatments can be arranged when the city has worn you out.
The video and the gallery take you from the pillared entrance through the lounges and into a handful of the suites, so you can judge the colour and pattern for yourself before you arrive.

London, United Kingdom.
Knightsbridge is one of the most polished corners of London. Harrods is roughly three minutes away on foot, the boutiques of Sloane Street and Harvey Nichols are close by, and Hyde Park opens up just north of Brompton Road for morning runs and long walks.
Museum lovers can stroll to the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Natural History Museum in South Kensington. Knightsbridge tube station on the Piccadilly line is about seven minutes from the door, which also gives a direct ride to Heathrow, and Buckingham Palace is a pleasant walk through Belgravia.
What guests say.
From guest reviews, checked October 2026.4.6/5
9.2/10
Guests keep coming back to the staff, who are described as warm, attentive and genuinely glad to help, from check-in through to room service. The location wins plenty of praise too, with Harrods, Hyde Park and the South Kensington museums all within walking distance, and the bold, individual decor is a frequent highlight. Families appreciate the larger junior suites. On the downside, standard rooms are on the compact side, and one guest found the minibar prices steep for what you get.
