1 Hotel Mayfair stands on Berkeley Street, a couple of minutes on foot from Green Park, and it takes a softer line than the gilded grand hotels around it. Plants climb the walls, reclaimed wood sets the tone in the lobby, and the atmosphere stays quiet and easygoing from morning to night.
Rooms are dressed in oak, rattan and pale linen, with moss walls, yoga mats and a filtered water tap so nobody needs a plastic bottle. The skyline categories frame the London rooftops, and the bigger suites, with up to four bedrooms, add living rooms and planted terraces where greenery softens the view of the city.
Dovetale is the hotel restaurant, there is a cafe with pastries baked in house, and the bar spins vinyl with DJ sets on lively evenings. On the first floor, the Bamford Wellness Spa works with organic products and connects to a gym that is open around the clock, complete with a small outdoor terrace.
The video takes you through the green lobby, the calm rooms and the terraces that make this one of the most relaxed addresses in Mayfair.

London, United Kingdom.
Mayfair is one of the most polished corners of central London, a grid of Georgian streets lined with galleries, tailors, auction houses and flagship stores. From Berkeley Street you reach Green Park and its Underground station in a couple of minutes and Buckingham Palace in about ten, while Bond Street, Savile Row and the Royal Academy are all an easy walk away.
Head east and Soho, with its restaurants and theatres, is around twenty minutes on foot. Heathrow is the main airport, reachable on the Piccadilly line straight from Green Park or on the Elizabeth line via Bond Street.
What guests say.
From guest reviews, checked October 2026.4.6/5
8.9/10
Guests keep coming back to the warm, attentive staff, the central Mayfair address close to Green Park and Soho, and interiors that feel natural and calm rather than formal. The filtered water tap in the rooms, the vinyl bar, the restaurant and the spa all earn regular praise. On the downside, a few recent reviews describe tired or poorly maintained suites, with stained rugs and broken fittings, and some standard rooms are on the small side.
Read on Google“The interiors are beautifully considered, with natural materials and greenery giving the hotel a calm, contemporary character without sacrificing the sense of luxury one expects from the location.”
