The Manhattan outpost of a hotel chain whose L.A. location was Travel + Leisure’s number-one hotel in that city in 2016, it’s big on the vintage style and boutique vibes. There are 265 accommodations at The Redbury New York, and each is sleek and a little spunky, featuring a black and white palette, with pops of red, and whimsical arrangements of Victorian cameo-style art on the walls.
The hotel is set in an increasingly buzzed-about Midtown neighbourhood that’s known as NoMad (short for "North of Madison"). This area is north of that park and south of the Empire State Building, and if you stay here, you can comfortably walk to both. Walk a little farther – a little less than a mile – to get to Times Square.
